Kuzey Güney

Kuzey is released from prison, after serving three years for hit and run.

Kuzey, who realizes that he will never be able to continue his life from where he left off even though he regained his freedom, his anger took him to the place where it all started, in front of Cemre's house. Seeing Güney and Cemre together here bleeds the deepest wound that Kuzey has hidden for years.

When the father of the man that died the night of the accident three years ago finds out that Kuzey is released from prison, he immediately sets out to the Tekinoglu family and threatens Kuzey, who once again is faced with realities of the accident's aftermath that he was not prepared for when taking responsibility for something his brother caused. In the three years of his imprisonment, his family, especially Güney has built a relationship with the family of the dead man. Güney has to go to Antalya to work, his girlfriend Cemre however insists on accompanying him. In the end, Ali and Kuzey join them as well on a free trip to Antalya.

Kuzey reproaches Cemre harshly for the kiss. Cemre, who only tried to kiss Kuzey after seeing Banu and Güney working too closely together for her taste, cannot control her jealousy. Güney's only answer to her jealous behavior is to push forward their marriage date. Back in Istanbul, Kuzey and Güney's conversation on their past that led Kuzey to prison is overheard by Cemre.

Cemre gradually distances herself from Güney each passing day after hearing the truth about the accident. Banu seizes this long-awaited opportunity and immediately tries to get closer to him. Güney holds Kuzey responsible so that the younger brother eventually leaves the family home and stays with his friend Ali. On one of Cemre's auditions, Güney confronts and accuses his brother of loving his girlfriend.

Güney suspects that his brother might have been in love with Cemre when they were still at high-school. Why Kuzey got drunk makes more sense now, as the day of the accident was also the day that Kuzey learned of Güney's and Cemre's relationship. Güney needs some time to make up his mind and proposes a short break from their relationship.

Güney needs time off from their relationship for he can no longer see Cemre as his girlfriend but also as his brother's first love. Banu once again seizes this opportunity and begs her brother Baris to help Cemre get the job for their commercial.

On her brother's engagement party, which is also used to introduce Cemre as the new face for Sinaner Group's advertisement, Banu's plans to distance Güney and Cemre from each other succeed. Cemre, having fallen asleep in the Sinaner family house, encounters Güney leaving Banu's room after having spent the night with her. Kuzey once again is hospitalized because of his injury from prison. Despite his former belief, Sami realizes that Ferhat caused his son's injury in prison. Filled with rage for having financed the man behind his son's misery, he burns down Ferhat's working place.

Kuzey's efforts to start a normal life and earn some money end in disaster. On Ferhat's initiative, policemen close down his market for selling fake handbags. After finding out that the money his mother lent him was initially Güney's, he is even more adamant to find another job and pay his brother back. With Ali's help, he starts as an agent for beauty products. Cemre on the other hand encounters Ferhat, which infuriates Kuzey when he finds out about it, much to Ferhat's delight.

Ferhat used Cemre to get closer to Kuzey and succeeds. Because of his father, Kuzey is force to accept Ferhat's offer to pay him back by doing fights for him. Simay tells Kuzey that she is pregnant.

Simay tries to catch Kuzey at her weakest point in order to persuade Kuzey to marry. However, the circumstances of Kuzey prevent him from giving even the slightest hope to Simay. First of all, Kuzey must be able to survive the fight that he will get out that same night.

Kuzey tells Cemre about Simay's pregnancy and their subsequent marriage but asks her and also Simay not to tell anyone about the marriage yet. Banu learns that shortly before his death her father signed a contract leaving Baris one of his companies. She tells her mother Ebru about her doubts concerning the contract's truthfulness but seems to talk to deaf ears. Unlike Banu's father, her mother does not seem to warm to Güney. Zeynep now wants to settle in Istanbul after having finished her fashion studies in Milan, Italy, and is immediately attracted to Kuzey.

Kuzey realizes that Simay had an abortion but lied to him. Back in Istanbul, he wants to divorce Simay as quickly as possible. Güney and Banu want to start their own business.

Kuzey tries to hide his marriage from his family. Zeynep feels attracted to Kuzey and seeks his presence.

Kuzey's family finds out about his marriage just as he and Zeynep were starting to get closer. His father mistakes the situation and believes that his son was afraid of his family's reaction to his marriage. So Sami decides to bring Simay to their house to live with them.

Zeynep feels betrayed when she learns of Kuzey's marriage. Kuzey has to passively watch his father taking over his life by inviting Simay to live with them. Handan dislikes Simay while her husband seems to warm towards his new daughter in law.

It is the launching of Banu and Güney's new business. Kuzey has been a great help to the business by finding good and economic vendors. Even Zeynep has had her share in the new business as the designer of the aprons. On the launch party, Simay witnesses Kuzey and Zeynpe's first kiss.

Kuzey's plan to divorce Simay are shattered by Simay's fake suicide to keep him and strengthen her position in his family. Handan reluctantly returns to her home.

As Cemre is left alone with her feelings that she cannot confess to Kuzey, Kuzey grows more in her heart. Güney, who realizes Cemre's feelings for Kuzey, is affected differently by this situation. Realizing that Cemre has lost her love and interest brings Güney one step closer to Cemre.

Through Bannu's meddling, Zeynep and Kuzey end up in Antalya together.

Simay finds out that Kuzey and Zeynep are in Antalya together and spend the night together. On their return to Istanbul, Kuzey accompanies Zeynep home to a furious father who accuses Kuzey and Zeynpe harshly. At dinner Güney and Banu reveal to her family that they are engaged, much to Baris' and Ebru's dismay.

Simay accidentally overhears the truth about the car accident and seizes the right moment to use her knowledge. While Banu's family is unhappy about their engagement, Güney's mother is excited to meet her son's new family. Simay who is not invited to the family gathering at the Sinaner's house, decides to meet Sümer Tezkan again. Ali follows her and his suspicion not to trust her are reinforced.

Simay rethinks her abrupt decision to leave the Tekinoglus forever and stays, despite Ali's efforts. Güney's parents learn of the pre-nuptial agreement. Their opinion on the agreement changes his view and he decides to play his cards cleverly with Banu to get rid of the marriage agreement.

Kuzey learns about Simay's tête-à-tête with another man. Banu's condition becomes worse after Güney has ended their relation-ship. Reluctantly, Ebru agrees to forget any marriage agreements, if he comes back to Banu, which also strengthens his position within the Sinaner company as well. Güney informs Kuzey about his expanding business plans that leave no place for Kuzey in it.

The brothers' relation-ship worsens. Both accuse the other and in addition Güney accuses Kuzey's love for Cemre being the cause for everything. Simay blackmails Güney with her knowledge about the accident to get some money. She also receives presents, flowers, someone rents a flat for her - all in the name of her ignorant husband. Kuzey, who knows nothing about this, cannot wait to finally divorce her.

On the day of their divorce, Simay does not appear at court. She finally learns who her secret benefactor is.

Kuzey is furious. He tries to find Ferhat but he is always a step behind him. Banu and Güney reveal their wedding date and Baris once again wants to put an end to this and does not care to even endanger his sister's health if needed.

Kuzey cannot get rid of Ferhat, whose vigorous to hurt Kuzey deeply. At the funeral of Simay's father in Mersin, he intends to bury Kuzey alive and involves Ali into his morbid plan. In an attempt to rescue his friend, Ali desperately tries to reach Kuzey before it is too late.

To hurt and humiliate Güney further, Baris is adamant to work with Sümer Tezkan.

Simay's family distances themselves from her, Ferhat plans to do the same when he realizes that she will no longer be of use for him. This is when Simay decides to share her knowledge about the accident that so many years ago put Kuzey in prison where Ferhat met him. He uses this news and Güney is interrogated about the night of the accident.

Kuzey locates Simay and is able to get her both to file in documents for their divorce and also withdraw her testimony regarding the car accident. When his father hears that Güney wants to bring them to court because of Kuzey's idea with the pastries, Sami immediately sets out to confront Güney. Kuzey has to abandon tracking Ferhat through Simay because of his father's state of health.

Güney receives another hint about the Sinaner secret that involves Banu and her mother especially wants to hide from Güney. Kuzey and Zeynep's relationship gets more serious, much to Cemre's discontent.

Kuzey finds Simay badly beaten and bruised in the trash and when the police questions her, she tells them that it was Kuzey who beat her.

Cemre frequently meets Baris much to Kuzey chagrin. On the other hand he tries to improve Zeynep's and her father's relation-ship by keeping his distance.

Thanks to her brother Baris, Banu receives an unwelcome visitor from the past. Güney finally meets Burak Çatalcali and gets one step closer to family secrets when Banu tells him the real happenings and connection to Burak.

Ebru tells her son Baris the truth behind Burak Catalcali's relation to his sister Banu. He realizes his mistake by bringing Burak into their lives in the first place now that he feels the Sinaner inheritance might be lost to Burak, the legitimate son of his stepfather Atilla Sinaner. On Cemre's birthday, Kuzey gives her a special present.

Kuzey's research reveals that Sermin Koflu is still alive. In an attempt to find her, Ferhat also gets a step too close to Kuzey. In order to protect his loved ones, Kuzey stays away from everyone, including Zeynep, who has started to grow suspicious of a bond between Cemre and Kuzey that she cannot properly name yet.

Kuzey's only chance to get rid of Ferhat seems to be Sermin Koflu. Just steps away from finally finding her, Ferhat once again gets too close to Kuzey. On the night of the Makara opening, Ferhat tries to harm Kuzey. Banu' nervous break-down is intensified the closer Burak gets to revealing the Sinaner family secrets. Only days before their wedding, Güney gets second thoughts about spending his life with Banu.

On Banu and Güney's wedding day, a surprising guest appears.

Ferhat is released from custody and plays an evil and deadly game with Kuzey. When Kuzey finally arrives in the secluded warehouse, Ferhat has already shot Ali who dies in Kuzey arms.

How to deal with the aftermath, with Ali's death. Kuzey withdraws himself more and more from everyone he loves. He fears that Ferhat will kill one of them as well. Kuzey is also determined to find Ferhat and avenge his beloved friend's murder. In his attempt he finds out where Ferhat is and follows him.

Simay is shot and Kuzey brings her to their house to live with them again.

Kuzey and Seref find out about Ferhat's hidden daughter, Deniz and they decide to use her against her father.

Kuzey gets close to Deniz and plots vengeance for Ali.

Cemre sees Kuzey with Deniz misinterprets their relationship. Out of passion and rage, she tells Baris that she will marry him immediately.

Kuzey tries to stop Cemre from marrying Baris but he goes to the wrong register office because of Zeynep's false information.

After he kidnaps Cemre through Baris, Ferhat is killed in the forest, no one knows, whom by.

Sami thinks it was Güney who killed Ferhat. When Kuzey finds it out, he is furious.

Kuzey plans to fly to Berlin. He is just leaving when Gülten appears.

Kuzey tells Cemre that he could never be with her because of Güney. Cemre seemingly understands that and tries to start her new life in the Sinaner family. On the other hand, Kuzey can't get her out of his head.

Burak acts more and more suspicious. He brings Kuzey to the Holding and nominates him his advisory, much to Güney's discontent.

Burak has an accident but Seref suspects that it was organized by someone who wants to kill Burak.

Zeynep witnesses Kuzey's and Cemre's kiss on the Holding roof.

Venüs tells Kuzey and Seref that Burak has known something dangerous to the Sinaners and maybe that's why Burak had an accident. Kuzey shares his knowledge with Cemre who starts searching in Baris' laptop. Baris finds out what she is doing.

Kuzey plots against Sinaners. Cloaking his revealing plan like a news conference, he reveals Sinaners' link to SNCG.

Handan busts out of the Sinaner house and asks Kuzey to take her away. He tosses everything away and helps his mother. Güney tells his mother about Sami's girlfriend Aynur and she goes to see her herself. The New Year, 2013 has started.

Banu finds out that it was Güney who shot Ferhat. She phones Kuzey and tells him.

Zeynep searches for Simay and she finds out that Simay works as a stripper. Burak is released from hospital and turns up at the Holding. Zeynep tells Kuzey where Simay works.

Kuzey helps simay and advise her not to work as a stripper. Demet rejects Seref's proposal.

Demet tells Seref that she feels something for him too. Kuzey just sees how Seref kisses Ali's widow.

Kuzey belabors Seref twice and can't forgive what he and Demet did. Because of Güney's actions, Baris blames Cemre and accuses Kuzey before a prosecutor. Kuzey gets imprisoned.

Everyone gathers at court for Kuzey's hearing after which Kuzey is sent to jail. Meanwhile, Vrag catches the person who has been following him since few weeks, who later accepts that he murdered Ferat.

Sami can't get rid of Handan, and she is there on Aynur's and Sami's wedding to ruin it.

Sami has a heart attack. Burak's attempts to get closer to Zeynep are fizzling out. Zeynep deletes the key to Cemre's freedom of Baris.

Kuzey becomes reconciled with Demet's and Seref's love. Cemre seems to find the way out of her marriage with Baris. Güney and Ebru finds Cemre and Baris in a pool of blood in Baris's house.

Baris confesses falsely against Cemre, thus who is imprisoned. Kuzey and Gülten frays out to visit her.

Deniz finds out about the situation with Baris, Cemre and Kuzey and she picks the events up. Güney naturally meddles in.

Baris changes his statement so Cemre is being paroled. By the time she is released from prison, Kuzey isn't in Istanbul anymore.

Banu kicks Güney out and says she wants to divorce him. Sinaners join forces against Güney. With Zeynep's help, Cemre figures out where Kuzey is and she visits him in Samsun.

Simay is desperate and prostitutes herself. Güney betrays Simay to Seref. Meanwhile, Kuzey learns the truth behind Güney sending him away from Istanbul.

Out of anger and hatred toward Güney, Kuzey asks Cemre her hand.

Zeynep and Cemre start event organization and their first project is Demet's and Seref's ringing party. Kuzey kisses Cemre on the street and when Güney sees them he touches for his gun.

Güney's plans to cause the Sinaners bankruptcy succeed. Kuzey buys wedding rings for Cemre and himself.

While Baris walks into Güney's trap, Cemre says yes to Kuzey's big question.

Baris is in trouble because of Güney's vicious intrigues. Sinaner Holding is dying. Kuzey and Cemre get their wedding's date.

Seref is finally a step ahead of Güney and uses his vantage. Someone mysteriously kills Sümer Tezkan.

Kuzey desperately searches after Deniz but has no success. Baris tries to hit back at Güney but instead it's Kuzey who walks into his trap.

Baris disappears without a trace. Banu's condition wavers again. Kuzey meddles with the police's work. Kuzey and Cemre finally get to their well-earned holiday.

Kuzey tells Güney that Banu is pregnant. Deniz finally arrives in Istanbul.

On his wedding day, Deniz appears and tells Kuzey the entire truth. In a face to face encounter with his brother, Güney confesses and tries to shoot a shocked Kuzey who cannot understand this hatred.
