Finral has dinner with ladies, as a test to see if he can resist their charm. He ends up colliding with Charlotte, who is on a attempted romantic dinner with Yami.

Noelle and the other Black Bulls head to Racquey to do some training, when Noelle hears a mysterious voice. Shortly after, they are reunited with Kahono and Kiato. The siblings ask them for help and they head down to the Underwater Temple

Asta and the other Black Bulls continue their training in order to face off with the devil. Charmy is trying to use her cotton magic and her Sheep Cooks to create food to enhance her friends' mana, but she realizes she lacks training

Zora returns to his hometown to visit his father's grave and there he finds a young commoner training and admiring the one who was the first commoner Magic Knight.

Vanessa returns to the Witches' Forest and requests that the Witch Queen teach her ancient magic. In exchange, the Queen tasks her with training two witches, Samantha Kravitz and Elvira Aguirre

Julius asks Marx to do a favor for him. He wanted him to help with creating new magic items as well as take care of some bandits. Marx is accompanied by the former member of the Eye of the Midnight Sun

The Golden Dawn was hard at work trying to get the kingdom back onto its feet. They were trying to make amends for the trouble they had caused while they were possessed. Captain Vangeance puts Alecdora Sandler in charge of a mission

Before the Midnight Sun attacked the capital a young woman named Dazu Tayaku lived with her husband and mother-in-law. Dazu is a user of Catalyst Magic, meaning she can only borrow magic from others but has no magic of her own.

Kabwe Carillon's team of Devil Banishers returns to Bow Nokude's house in Tiulyu. They report to the other team about their failure to capture Asta. Gordon and Noelle take Asta to Owen, who discovers that it was a sleeping potion.

Dazu angrily blames the Magic Knights for not protecting her village before storming off to the Banishers headquarters, the basement of Bou's medical clinic

The Bulls infiltrate Lehart alongside the other Magic Knights and find a large crowd of angry commoners gathered. Vanessa is approached by two Banishers who demand she leaves with them quietly or Secre and Marie will be killed instantly.

Kabue finally realizes he's been fooled by the Devil Believers, but it's too late for him and his friends. The Black Bull is given a new mission: the capture of the Devil Believer in addition to the rescue of Nero.

Secre warns the Believers an area of strong natural magic stands between them and the Spade Kingdom but the Believers decide to continue.

Asta manages to escape with Noelle and Secre. Nozel and Fuegoleon arrive, causing the Believers to try attacking them; unfortunately this summons a dragon from the strong magic region.

Secre recalls that Lumiere designed a magic tool that could increase magic specifically to help those born with low magic, intending to end the discrimination that created the Believers.

Grey decides to overcome her chronic shyness and asks Noelle for help. As Grey is not shy when she transforms into other people Noelle suggests she transform her state of mind instead.

The Captains are split into two teams; Yami, Jack, Nozel and Kaiser against Charlotte, Fuegoleon, Dorothy and Vangeance, aiming to destroy the other teams crystals, though Rill is absent for personal reasons.

The Magic Knight Entrance Exam comes again, marking one year since Asta and Noelle joined the Bulls. Asta is once again swarmed by the Anti-birds for having zero magic.

Asta and the other Magic Knights chosen to train in the Heart Kingdom are joined by Magna and they finally start their training under Loropechika and the Spirit Guardians of Lightning, Earth, Plants, Fire, and Wind and Undine. Since Asta has no magic to begin with, he ends up sparring with Gaja, the Spirit Guardian of Lighting. They Magic Knights all work harder to surpass their limits.

While Asta and the others were training in the Heart Kingdom, back in the Clover Kingdom, Yami asked Mereoleona to help him train. Meanwhile, the Spade Kingdom's forces continues to draw nearer as it continues its invasion.

Months after arriving at the Heart Kingdom, Asta still doesn't have any magic, but he's become more powerful at an alarming speed due to his training with the Spirit Guardians. Anti-magic is one of the magic attributes that falls into the "Arcane Stage" and is needed to defeat the devil. Because of that, Gaja asks Asta how exactly he obtained the five-leaf grimoire.

The Spade Kingdom successfully takes over the Diamond Kingdom and then sets their sights on the Clover Kingdom and Heart Kingdom. The Spade Kingdom troops get through the strong magic region using a mobile fortress which sucks up the mana of the Spade Kingdom citizens who were taken by force. But then Asta, who had finished his training with the Spirit Guardians, comes to the rescue! Meanwhile, Luck and Leopold head to the Spade Kingdom in order to try to take over one of their bases.

Charmy, who had tagged along with Asta and the others to train in the Heart Kingdom, keeps trying to eat up all of the food in the Heart Kingdom. Asta tries to take her back and goes to the forest Charmy is last seen. However, Charmy had also trained with the Spirit Guardians and had become even more powerful. Meanwhile, Yuno is contacted by Sister Lily and heads back to his home village of Hage.

Ralph tells Yuno to take a look at his past while Zenon Zogratis attacks the Golden Dawn's headquarters with the Dark disciples to capture William Vangeance.

After hearing about the Golden Dawn members being in trouble, Yuno hurries back. When he returned, their headquaters had been destroyed and many of the squad members were near death. Yuno's rage explodes. Meanwhile, the members who can still fight are doing their best to hold up against the attackers that includes one of the members of the Dark Triad, Zenon, and his minions.

Dante Zogratis attacks The Black Bulls to capture Yami while Vanica makes her move in The Heart Kingdom.

Grey reminisces on her past. Meanwhile the fight between Dante and Asta is continuing!

Yami Sukehiro, Captain of the Black Bull, is engaged in a fierce battle with Dante Zogratis of the Dark Triad. The blow finally caught Dante! But his fear self-renewing abilities quickly restore him back to life as he starts to talk about his plan to destroy the world and turn the Black Bull upside down. Meanwhile in the Heart Kingdom, Leopold Vermillion of the Crimson Lion, Charmy Pappitson of the Black Bull struggle to save the kingdom from an enemy that outmatches even the most powerful Spirit Guardians.

In the Spade Kingdom a spy from the Clover Kingdom is discovered in Dante's office, revealed to be wearing a Black Bull robe under their cape. Vanica, the one who cursed Loropechika, demands Loropechika duel her while her masochistic subordinate, Disciple Robero, keeps Noelle and Mimosa busy.

Vanica and her subordinates continue their attack on the Heart Kingdom. Meanwhile, back at the Black Bulls' hideout, Captain Yami's fight against Dante continued. Despite how overwhelmingly powerful Dante is, Yami continues to fight back, landing another powerful blow onto Dante. However, no matter how much Dante is damaged, he continues to regenerate. What will Yami do?

As the battles in the Heart Kingdom begin to come to an end, Asta and Yami decide to work together as they continue in their fight against Dante Zogratis of the Dark Triad.

Yami and Vangeance are taken to the Spade Kingdom so that the ritual to open the gate to the underworld can begin. Despite how hurt he is, Asta tries to escape the infirmary to go and save Yami, however he is stopped by a mage named Nacht Faust, who also happens to be a devil-possessed. He offers to show Asta how to use his devil powers even better. Meanwhile, the Magic Knight Squad Captains hold an emergency meeting. The Golden Dawn has almost been completely annihilated, and Yuno shows up to the meeting, showing new resolve.

Noelle and the others were involved in the explosion that Vanica caused back in the Heart Kingdom and were left unconscious. When they woke up, they found themselves in the new home of the elves that was located in a strong magic region just beyond the Heart Kingdom. There, Noelle has an unexpected reunion. Meanwhile, Asta was learning from Nacht how to control his devil powers, but it was a very dangerous method. In order to save Yami from the Dark Triad, Asta decides to undergo this trial.

Nacht summons the devil who had been giving Asta his powers all this time. In order to use his devil powers to their fullest extent, Asta must defeat his devil and bind him, but he also offers and alternative solution that is a bit surprising. Yuno, Noelle, and the others also swear that they will get revenge on the Dark Triad and get back Captain Yami and Captain Vangeance. A new battle is about to begin!
