Waiting for the Sun

Zeynep moves to the big city with her mother and struggles to fit in at her new high school. She clashes with Kerem, the school owner's son, and catches the attention of her PE teacher, Cihan, who is also her mother's first love. Cihan's jealous daughter, Melis, teams up with Kerem to make Zeynep's life difficult

At college, Zeynep witnesses Kerem's attack on Sedat and sprays them with water from a hose, saving Sedat. Kerem decides to take revenge on the brave girl. Meanwhile, her mother, Demet, gets a job at an atelier.

Zeynep is thrown paint and tried to humiliate in the back room. With the help of Baris, she holds on, smudging Kerem's car. Melis, according to Kerem's plan, tries to get closer to her, while confessing her love for him.

Zeynep gets closer to Baris and starts falling in love. Coach Cihan offers to train her and buys her sneakers. Melis, his daughter, is jealous and tries to befriend Zeynep, giving her a "friendship" bracelet.

Kerem is accused of beating the gym teacher, and he is fired. Zeynep organizes a campaign to get him back, but only Barysh helps. Melis is looking for evidence against Zeynep, and Sedat loses the evidence that could fix everything.

Kerem is shocked by Baris's actions and the pressure from his parents, who want to send him to America. He takes Zeynep to an unknown location, while the other characters try to find him, fearing he will harm himself.

After the accident, Kerem and Zeynep reach his home. Rumors of their affair spread throughout school. Kerem gives Zeynep a new phone to replace the broken one, which only adds fuel to the fire-now everyone is convinced of their intimacy.

Melis spreads a rumor that Zeynep spent the night with Kerem and received the phone in exchange. Zeynep demands the truth from Kerem, but he laughs and gets punched in the face. Cihan forces Kerem to reveal the truth.

Zeynep goes missing after an incident on a yacht. Kerem and his friends desperately search for her, calling hospitals. The tension reaches its peak when the body of a drowned girl is found-Kerem is terrified it might be Zeynep.

Zeynep wins three medals at the competition. Kerem makes her a bet: if he wins, she'll quit school; if he loses, he'll apologize. Zeynep wins. Cihan visits her teacher, Jale, in the hospital and accidentally meets Demet there.
