The Convict

Judge Alicja Mazu is sent to prison after being accused and unjustly convicted of murder.

In prison, Alicja tries to talk to a young girl who was a waitress at her wedding, hoping she may know who framed her for the murder.

Because her attorney submitted an appeal too late, Alicja's sentence of 15 years becomes final. Her only solution now is to resume the investigation.

Alicja tries to get Commissioner Cedro interested in her case while he investigates Sara's murder. Kosa returns to the ward with a shocking idea.

The police begins to observe Natalia, as well as Wiki, and her frequent visits to Kosa in prison. Alicja is convinced that Pawel set her up.

Alicja desperately fights for her daughter's safety, while Wiki is caught trafficking drugs at Pawel's club.

Alicja manages to get Ludmila's recording, and Pawel orders Kosa to kill her.

Pawel's true identity and motives are exposed. He convinces Hania that they should leave the country, but Alicja cannot let that happen.

Alicja, locked in solitary confinement after beating Kosa, undergoes a real hell - she receives news of her daughter's death. The police bust a women trafficking ring, but for Pawel, the game is not over.

Alicja decides to report Hepner's crimes against Hanka to the prosecutor. However, her daughter fears speaking about what happened in his office.

A riot initiated by Alicja spreads to other units of the Zabrze prison. The situation becomes dramatic when the self-proclaimed leader Amfisa uses the chaos for vigilante justice.

The echoes of the riot continue, as prison manager Hepner teaches the inmates a harsh lesson in humility. Bans, restrictions, and mandatory runs in the exercise yard become the daily routine.

Alicja faces the loss of Serafin as Hepner triumphs. Kosa remains suspected of child abuse. "Penis" ensures this information spreads through the cells.

Commissioner Piotrowski obtains evidence that Serafin didn't commit suicide. Kosa fights in court for her child's rights, but losing her parental rights is not the only problem facing Basia and Bartlomiej.

Pati, framed by Hepner for car theft, returns to prison. She is transported to the Zabrze penal institution along with Pola Nawrot - the organizer of a women's auction.

Thanks to Swiet, Alicja learns the truth about Dorota Wójcik, and through Kraszecki, she discovers Hepner's past. One of the past's secrets is Kraszecki's brother.

After spending a night with Kraszecki, Alicja is uncertain if she can trust him. She discovers that Natalia, a girl scarred by acid, is the fiance of Kraszecki's missing brother.

The police search General Rabczuk's summer house, where Marek Kraszecki was murdered, looking for evidence against Hepner.

The investigation into Hepner's murder is underway. Initially, prosecutor Sobecki and inspector "Mario" Piotrowski do not have any anchor points. Dorota Wójcik, who is being held in a prison psychiatric ward, contacts Kraszecki.

Alice receives a message from the kidnapped Pati: either Alice finds out where Hepner hid his money, or Pati dies. Alicja asks Kraszecki for help. He wants him to get information from Dorota Wójcik. If anyone knows where to look.

Kraszecki smuggles a mobile phone with a new recording of Pati into the psychiatric ward. Alice has only one more day to find the money. When the time runs out, Pati will be killed. Dorota convinces Alicja to escape from prison together..

Alicja tries to get the money out of the hiding place indicated by Dorota. In the meantime, Dorota escapes from the ambulance. After misleading prosecutor Sobecki and the police chasing her, she goes to Hepner's apartment.
