Present day Finland. Some members of the Kurtti family travel to Kos on holiday, but all remember a tragedy 12 years previously. Grandfather Risto receives a letter he believes is linked to that event.

In Greece, Kalle is drawn to Leo and Nina who give him the attention he craves from Mikko. Seppo discovers adult Elias has gone on holiday, as Ritso suspects Leo might be Elias. Relationships are strained as suspicions of infidelity grow.

As Kalle grows further apart from his family, Seppo arrives in Kos and challenges Leo, then makes a call to his ex. More details emerge about Tommi's death. Nina wonders about Leo's real identity. Meanwhile, Anna and Tytti attend a party.

Olivia worries about Anna and Tytti, as Kalle sneaks out with Leo. Eeva emerges as a dominant personality, but Seppo and Risto worry about threats against the children. Secrets are revealed as the family struggle to hold together.

Mikko goes to look for Kalle and Leo in Kos, then confronts Seppo. The family starts to fragment as secrets are revealed. Anna and Tytti become closer to Ellu and Daniel, and Pekka invites them to dinner with Olivia.

The truth is finally out in the open. The identity of the person sending Risto the threatening messages is revealed, and the stage is set for a nail-biting finish as everybody tries to prevent further tragedy.
